Better Friday By Far
On Friday 1st December, we held our in store event in our Horan Centre store, here in Tralee.
Lots of preparation and planning had gone into this day: from a balloon arch outside the door, a complimentary tea, coffee and cake station on arrival, a gift wrapping area where we wrapped all your purchases, and the absolute star of the show: Mark Doe, from Just Cooking. Mark demonstrated how to prepare and serve delectable festive treats & had everyone wrapped around his every word (and every morsel).
Canapes to choose from included mini turkey club sambos with guacamole, cranberry & sage sausage rolls, pan fried scallops with black pudding, smoked salmon pate on crostini, baked camembert & finally warm chocolate fondants.
Our suppliers did not disappoint and we had offerings from Micro Warehouse (a Eufy Robovac X8 Pro), a Nilfisk vacuum cleaner, and gift boxes from The Handmade Soap Company & The Farrow Collection as prizes to be won on the day.
All of the money from the store’s takings for this day (€3,300 at time of writing) went to Adapt Kerry Women's Refuge

Keeper’s Cocktails & Speakeasy Bars
We were delighted to collaborate with the Ashe Hotel & Roundy’s Bar in Tralee on their Christmas cocktail range with our Winchester vintage glassware collection. Have you spotted our cocktail saucers & martini glasses yet? Make sure to pay a visit and sample a Christmas cocktail or two in either Lotties Bar at the Ashe Hotel or Roundy’s. You can choose from a White Christmas, Jingle Juice, The Grinch or a Mistletoe Margarita. And if you can’t make it in, why not try your hand at home and recreate the magic with our glassware.

Keep on Keeping On…
We also extended our own brand Keepers with the introduction of a hand and body range. So not only can you choose Keepers candles for your home, but you can also choose hand and body wash & hand and body lotion in either ginger & orange or sandalwood & silk. These are priced at €9.95 and are beautifully presented in dark brown apothecary style bottles.

And there she goes now - almost the end of another year.
So just how many pictures do you have to take until you get one that's just right? Let's just say we had lots of laughs on this day with plenty of banter with customers and passersby.
But seriously, thank you for your support of our Keepers brand since we launched in May of this year. We have enjoyed sharing our finds and showcasing as many Irish made and sustainable gifts with you.
